HOW DO I REGISTER?
FIND A TEAM OR CONTACT A CLUB
Registration is announced by the Clubs and is generally August every year. Find a team through friends/ workmates or please contact a Club to be put on their list for players looking for a team to join.
WHERE DO I GET A NOMINATION FORM?
CLUBS
Clubs will announce when their registrations open. After this time, team nomination forms will be available on this website. A team must be registered with a minimum 7 players but we recommend 8. Teams are nominated through clubs, not directly to BABA.
FEES & REGISTRATION?
RENEWED EACH SEASON
Fees change each season according to costs however within your fee costs on registration- you'll be paying a BABA, BWA, BA & CLUB fee. To register, you must submit your team nomination by a set date to your chosen club so they can nominate it to BABA. Once this is finalized, clubs will email registration links to each team to disperse to the players for PlayHQ registration and payment.
DO I WEAR A UNIFORM?
YES
Depending on your club, will depend on the uniform requirements. However matching team shirts and shorts by all players must be worn within the first 3 games of the season, shoes are worn at all times and mouthguards are optional for anyone over the age of 18 but strongly recommended.
WHO MANAGES/ COACHES MY TEAM?
YOUR TEAM DOES
All coaching, managing and scoring duties are decided between your team. A scorer must be provided for each game you play in the season. Some teams train, some don't. Some don't have a coach or manager- it's worked out between everyone. Some are super organised and have a coach, train weekly, have a manager and regular scorer throughout the season. It's up to you.

The Busselton Basketball competition is run over 2 indoor venues – Geographe Leisure Centre (GLC) in Busselton and Naturaliste Community Centre (NCC) in Dunsborough.
The allocated playing days will depend on the number of teams submitted for the season and therefore cannot be released until all teams have been collated by BABA. This will be released asap before the start of the season.
A Court Coordinator is present at every timeslot across both venues to assist with any issues, ensure smooth operations and support throughout the competition. If there are any problems, please speak to them.
BABA suppplies all referee's for all games played.
If you ever have any questions, please always contact the Court Co-Ordinator on the day or your club in the first instance.
